The series Boarding House was shot over 30 days with director Svyatoslav Podgayevsky.

During preproduction, we developed a custom LUT for the Sony Venice that worked well across all lighting moods.

 

At the beginning of the series, the lighting was warm and neutral, creating a sense of normality and comfort. As the story progressed toward the end of the first episode, the visual tone gradually shifted into a more mysterious and atmospheric direction. 

 

Our main goal was to support this transition visually. I built  visual concept around silhouettes and deep yet soft shadows. The camera was treated like an independent character, following the main heroes.
